Leah King Reiki
A Gentle Japanese Practice for Body & Mind
In-Home Sessions Available
Leah King is certified Jikiden Reiki Practitioner and a licensed Physical Therapist. Although she continues to practice physical therapy within the traditional medical model, her mission is to promote the healing art of Reiki throughout the community, spread awareness about the benefits of Reiki, and help her clients heal through Reiki treatments.
The Art of Reiki
Jikiden means directly passed down. Reiki is an art of energy healing and works for both physical and psychological sides of health by activating natural healing abilities that all humans possess. Reiki is beneficial not only for those who are in poor health, but it also aids healthy people in maintaining that good health.
“Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy. Jikiden Reiki is a hands on healing art and practice that balances body, mind, heart and spirit in a structured way through light, gentle, non-intrusive touch and compassionate intention and regard.”
Services & Reiki Expectations
A full Reiki treatment generally takes one hour.
Many people experience other benefits including pain relief during the treatment. Everyone feels something different: warmth, heat, coolness, comfort, relaxation, and tingling are often reported. A Jikiden Reiki treatment is a very personal experience and there is no one particular feeling you should experience.
Reiki is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion. During a Reiki session, the client is fully clothed while comfortably reclining on a massage table or seated in a chair. A Reiki session aids in stress reduction and is almost always a very relaxing experience. A Reiki session may help ease tension and support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, emotional and spiritual.

Testimonials
What my clients are saying
Leah performed Reiki on me and it was amazing. I felt a calm and focused energy building in me through the session and felt more centered, grounded and aligned at the end of it. Leaving, I felt calm, confident, focused and ready to take on whatever life might throw at me next.
I went into a Reiki session with Leah with a sinus headache and I felt much better after with no signs of the pressure. I recommend anyone to have a Reiki session with Leah. She’s is a kind and compassionate gifted practitioner.
